This family knew the outdated, dark cabinets had to go but were unsure of the best way to update the kitchen without breaking the bank. Comfort Remodel recommended our custom cabinet refacing process, including new doors and drawer fronts. Two finishes, “Naval” and “Alabaster White” was selected for a fresh classic look, along with a new white tile backsplash. This matched the original white countertops so they were left in place, saving them thousands of dollars. Storage and functionality were increased by adding three new cabinets. Refacing provided a beautiful kitchen update at an affordable cost!

The Homeowners desired an open space concept for the Great Room and Kitchen combined living space.

This basement remodel project in a beautiful stately 40-year-old home nestled on large acreage was challenging due to the recurring flooding issues that the family endured through the years. In fact, along with asking us to correct these serious issues, the homeowner also wanted a complete remodel with a custom home theater area, the addition of a half bath, all in a contemporary look and feel. The elevated reclining home theater seats with sconce lighting, huge projector screen, custom wet bar, and ½ bath is now their family’s paradise!

After purchasing his Prairie Village ranch home our client knew he wanted to make updates and put his own stamp on things. This Prairie Village attic remodel exemplifies the ability to transform an area of the home that is often underutilized as livable space. The addition was created to maximize the functionality as well as create a sanctuary. An innovative plan creates a bright, open staircase leading to an inviting loft for reading, intimate family gatherings, and stargazing through oversized skylights. This tranquil owner’s haven offers a relaxing bedroom and visionary “en suite” matched only by the finishes. The soft use of aquamarine was used as an accent against charcoal grays and bright whites, completing this retreat.

The location of this Prairie Village home was paramount for these homeowners, with its proximity to The Shops of Prairie Village. So rather than move for more space, they decided to add on to make it their forever home. The large addition added a kitchen, family room, master bedroom, master closet, and screened porch. Another addition added a mudroom and garage. Moreover, nearly every square inch of the home was remodeled with custom touches to create a traditional, rustic style retreat. The whole main floor in this Leawood home needed updating. Opening the wall between the living area and kitchen plus adding an addition transformed the small kitchen into an eye-catching space. An antique armoire with a built-in coffee bar provides a unique feature to the kitchen in contrast to the quartz countertops covering the new kitchen cabinets and island.
The master suite includes the dressing area with sleek white cabinets, the laundry, and the toilet room. The existing garden room was transformed into an unexpected, magnificent bath suite with heated marble floor tiles and large porcelain floor-to-ceiling wall tile. A zero-entry shower and soaking tub complete the totally open suite.

This Overland Park home had a two-tier angled island with floor height issues. The owners wanted an updated look with better functionality. By removing the 2nd tier and making the island one large rectangle there is a lot of countertop space. The east wall previously had a furniture desk for their kids to do homework. By closing in a window, that area was redesigned with a coffee bar, adding additional storage to the kitchen area. Come by and see this beautiful kitchen!
