The award-winning team of MSC Enterprises & Deatherage Home Designs transformed small, chopped up spaces by redesigning the kitchen, enlarging the doorway to the dining room, AND adding a first floor bathroom (the owners’ top “wish list” item, and a common request from Brookside homeowners). The new kitchen features a center island with seating and a new doorway to the living room, improving traffic flow. New arched doorways replicate the original arches of the house – creating an architecturally original, seamless look. This inspiring project demonstrates that creative design & space planning – not necessarily MORE space – can be the solution!
